AI in Daily Life: Small Tools, Big Impact (off topic).

AI in daily life
AI in daily life

I’ve always enjoyed giving unconventional uses to the things around me. It happens at home, at work… and especially with technology. For years I’ve taken tools designed for one purpose and adapted them to something completely different. I still remember using survey apps to create self‑grading exams long before I even knew what automation was. Life hacks, I guess.

When I started using AI, it felt like stepping into a huge open field for creativity. I genuinely believe that the people who will get the most out of AI are those who approach it with imagination. And even if you don’t see yourself as a particularly creative person, you can always learn by observing others and adapting their ideas to your own context.

In my case, AI has quietly become part of my everyday life in tasks that have nothing to do with work, but make everything run more smoothly.

Weekly meal plan. I give it a list of ingredients we like, the type of meals we usually cook, and the fact that my daughter is allergic to eggs. In seconds, I get a full weekly menu and a shopping list ready to tweak. It saves me time and mental load every single week.

Strength and cardio routine. I created my own app with a monthly workout plan. I just entered my age, goals, fitness level, and the equipment I have at home. I also asked for some nutrition and recovery tips to keep everything aligned. And that’s it—training sorted without overthinking.

Time tracker for homework with my daughter. Another little app we use together to see how much time we spend on each subject in the afternoons. It helps us stay aware, avoid distractions, and free up more time to play afterwards. A small change with a big impact.

Garden design. With spring coming, I took a few photos of the entrance to my house and asked AI for ideas using decorative, low‑maintenance plants. I’m not exactly “green‑fingered”, so having visual suggestions tailored to my reality has been a lifesaver.

Without even noticing, I’ve integrated AI into my daily routines. Just like at work, it gives me speed, saves me time, and helps me avoid getting stuck on tasks that used to drain my energy. Thanks to English AI Academy, my life is more comfortable and full of projects.

What about you? How do you use AI in your everyday life? I’d love to hear.
